In the academic discourse, the discussion should be clear, detailed, and able to present the academic ideas. By quoting other people's point of view, we can find out the background of the current research, and find out which relevant research has been done before, so as to seek support for their position and to enhance the argument of the discussion. Or point out the shortcomings of previous research work, thus laying a broad and reliable foundation for his research. The importance of the restatement in the discourse of the academic language has brought about a wide range of linguists. Pay attention to. They have studied the use of the verb in the academic discourse, and some of them are concerned about the use of the said verb in the English learners, such as the English major and the master's postgraduates, while others focus on the use of them in the English native language. a case, such as a college student and a language in an English country. But it's not hard to find that most of these studies have selected the whole paper, or the introduction part and the summary part are the research objects, and few researchers are concerned about the distribution of the verb in the literature review part Therefore, under the guidance of the theory of teleology and restatement, this study selected the literature review part of the Chinese English major's master's thesis as its analysis text and compared it with the academic papers written by foreign writers. In view of this, the author randomly selected 35 master's papers from China's knowledge network, and selected its literature review part to build an observation corpus, which is a foreign language and applied linguistics of the Foreign Language Institute of Taiyuan University of Technology. At the same time, 200 English native speakers have been downloaded from Elsevier Science Direct, and the same section of the literature review is a reference corpus, all of which are from international well-known English journals, such as English for Specific Purposers, Tagging and Teacher Education, Journal of English for Academic Purpose, Journal of Second Language Wr in addition, that selecte papers of the institute are relevant Through the comparative analysis of two corpora, the purpose of this study is to Answer the following two questions: 1) In the degree paper written by the graduate student of the English major, the verb, the form of the transfer and the transfer what are the characteristics of the tense of the verb? The results of the study show that, in order to review the relevant literature, to review the relevant literature, to make a summary of the previous research and to combine the previous research with its own research, the Chinese students and the native speakers have used a great deal. an amount of restated verb and a different form of rotation, at the same time, in two The verb's tense in the corpus also has diversity.
